Chronometric's Random Trek Prompt Generator

How it Works:

It's easy. First, just click the blue buttons to generate random character and prompt elements. Then, take up to 90 minutes to write a ficlet using one or more of those elements.

You don't have to generate and/or use all eight possible elements (unless you're especially masochistic). Just use whichever one(s) inspire or work for you.

As long as you've a) used at least one of your generated characters or prompts; b) adhered to the 90-minute time limit, your ficlets can be posted at Chronometric like a regular challenge response--but anytime you want, rather than during a specific week.

 
Please note that the character fields draw on lists from all incarnations of Trek.
If you prefer to write in one specific series or another, you may have to click a few times before coming up with familiar names.
